In 1989, Interteach has been organized with the support of the European Regional Bureau of the World Health Organization (Copenhagen, Denmark) like the International School of Health. Later, in 1991, the school has been reorganized into the Kazakh Corporation of Health and Medical Insurance "Interteach" with the first insurance license on the territory of Kazakhstan (СЗ No. 0000001).
In 2001, the insurance company separated the functions of insurance and medical assistance.
More than 600 companies have entered into contracts for health insurance and medical services with Interteach. The company provides all types of medical care through a developed network of medical services. Interteach has a medical service integrated with the public health sector, without which it is impossible to provide specialized medical care in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan. The network consists of 32 own medical centers, 13 representative offices, more than 340 contract clinics. The company has more than 2000 employees. This allows you to control the entire treatment process, improve the qualifications of doctors, create effective schemes for providing medical care.

Every year, starting in 2014, the rating agency Expert RA Kazakhstan confirms the insurance company Interteach with a very high reliability rating of A +.
By the decision of the Rating Committee of JSC "Rating Agency of the Regional Financial Center of Almaty" No. 46 of December 5, 2013 assigned a long-term sustainability rating of the insurance company at P1 with a forecast of "Stable"
